Death is forever unforgiving of friends

Robin Williams once quoted “I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel all alone.”

If you are the one that is always calling, visiting and writing to ‘friends’ and they never do this, they obviously don’t wish to be your friend. (A random thought….) Their loss??

Loneliness is like a maggot that eats away at you – because you are feeling alone – therefore you are alone with the maggot still eating until it consumes you.

In Sleep you will always be alone. You may be WITH someone but you are still alone, perhaps with death pending – sometimes without any warning! A heart attack, no sound, just GONE!

Many say they would like to ‘simply die quietly in their sleep’. At that point of death, the state you left this world in, is the state you went to sleep in. Happy, feeling loved or perhaps upset, angry, disappointed, feeling let-down. You could have had an argument, a cross word, a ratty attitude, be in a huff, or a sulk – waiting for the right moment to say sorry.

The dead left this world under that very last state, Alone. Perhaps with unrequited love feeding the maggot. With an aching heart full of sorrow, sadness, the feeling of being all alone. Left with no chance to say the word ‘Sorry’ – for saying sorry is not about who was right and who was wrong, it’s about who cares more about the relationship than ego.

With death, there is absolutely no chance of repair, no forgiveness, no change of mind, no love exchanged, no warmth of smiles – nothing the living can do. The dead are gone forever. Forever is a long time. A long time for the living to live with those LAST feelings.

Never, ever go to sleep without kissing a real lover, for death is forever unforgiving.
